Lithuania will allocate $30 million and Estonia $12 million to purchase weapons from the United States for Ukraine, APA reports.
The defense ministers of both countries announced this during a meeting of NATO defense ministers in Brussels.
Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur said that the recent reduction in military aid to Ukraine could weaken the country's defense capabilities.
"Therefore, we have decided to send a large number of unmanned aerial vehicles worth tens of millions of euros this week, in addition to what we have already done," the minister said.
