“The visit of the President of Azerbaijan to Georgia contributes to the deepening of friendly relations,” Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze said in a statement to journalists, APA reports.
According to him, there is no alternative to deepening peaceful and friendly relations among countries in the region.
“Relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan, a strategic partnership, are important. I welcome this visit. Considering the complex processes taking place in the Middle East, there is no alternative to peace. We have friendly relations with Azerbaijan. Such visits by the leaders of the countries contribute to the deepening of friendly relations,” Kaladze added.
