Parliamentary elections will be held in Hungary on Sunday.
Voters will decide whether the ruling alliance between Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s Fidesz party and its junior partner, the Christian Democratic People's Party, will remain in power or whether the opposition Tisza Party will secure victory.
As Orbán has noted, the parliamentary elections in Hungary are significant not only for the country but also for Europe as a whole, including Ukraine.
Polling stations will open at 6:00 a.m. local time and remain open until 7:00 p.m. According to the National Election Committee, more than 8.12 million citizens in Hungary and abroad are eligible to vote.
Approximately 500,000 people will be able to cast their ballots from abroad either by mail or at foreign missions.
