Germany has announced its conditions for sending Patriot systems to Ukraine, APA reports.
German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius told Der Spiegel that Germany agrees to send Patriots to Ukraine, provided that the US supplies new ones to Germany in place of the systems to be delivered.
According to the minister, the US must guarantee NATO members that the Patriot air defense systems sent to Ukraine will be replaced with new ones within 6-8 months.
Recall that, according to the agreement reached last week between US President Donald Trump and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, the alliance member countries will purchase US weapons at their own expense and supply them to Ukraine.
