The Ukraine Defense Contact Group (UDCG), better known as the Ramstein format, will hold its next meeting within the next 10 days, Bundeswehr Maj. Gen. Christian Freuding said. The meeting will take place online, APA reports citing Ukrinform.
Freuding, the chief coordinator of German military assistance to Ukraine, was in Kyiv on July 12. He met with journalists and confirmed the upcoming Ramstein meeting.
The general confirmed that the meeting would take place in Germany and be held virtually, as ministers had decided. He added that it would be led by the United Kingdom and Germany, as in previous Ramstein meetings.
According to him, the meeting of countries supporting Ukraine's defense is already scheduled. It will happen within the next 10 days.
