According to Giorgi Ghibradze, the head of the operational staff of the Interagency Coordination Council, night clubs are still prohibited from operating in both open and closed spaces, APA reports citing Georgian Journal.
As he said at the briefing after the meeting of the Coordinating Council, it is also forbidden to hold social events such as weddings, funeral repasts, anniversaries, so on.
"It is forbidden to operate nightclubs in both open and closed spaces. Enforcement of this regulation will be even more strictly controlled. The operation of food outlets is limited to the period from 00:00 to 00:05, the enforcement of which will be further tightened by the state.
In addition, as it is known, a government decree prohibits holding social events such as weddings, funeral repasts, anniversaries, and so on. For hosting a similar event, the owner of a food facility or other ritual hall will be fined 10 thousand GEL for the first time, and in case of the repeated violation, the relevant facility will be closed", - Ghibradze said.
