"The "Ifly" airline will begin flights between Russia and the occupied Abkhazia region in the second half of May," said airline representative to the Russian media, APA's correspondent in Tbilisi reports.
"After the preparation phase is completed, a specific date for the start of flights will be set. I believe flights will begin in the second half of May," the airline representative stated.
He also noted that the technical phase of preparations for regular flights is ongoing, with an assessment of the airport's technical capabilities for receiving and servicing Airbus A330 aircraft.
