The flags at the Ukrainian Embassy in Azerbaijan have been lowered, ambassador Yuriy Husyev announced on his social media account, APA reports.
He noted that an electronic condolence book has been created at the Embassy as a sign of respect for those killed in the missile attack on the city of Sumy.
Yuriy Husyev wrote that similar steps have been taken in diplomatic missions in a number of countries around the world.
The ambassador added that the book will be open on April 14-15:
"Condolence emails can be sent to: [email protected]. As a result of the missile attack, 34 people were killed and 117 were injured. We extend our condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims."
Recall that on the morning of April 13, a Russian missile strike on the center of Sumy, Ukraine, killing more than 30 people.
