Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has stated that the Russia–Ukraine war carries the risk of increasingly spiraling out of control, APA’s Türkiye bureau reports.
Recep Tayyip Erdoğan noted that the situation is becoming more tense due to mutual attacks and said that Türkiye’s sincere wish is for this war to end as soon as possible with a just and sustainable peace.
The president emphasized that Türkiye has no intention of profiting from conflicts: “We are a country that has established sustainable relations in terms of security. We are ready to take on any responsibility to open the way to peace. We sincerely emphasize this reality at every opportunity. We do not seek to gain a role, put on a show, or profit from blood, tears, and oppression. We have never had a concept of benefiting from conflicts.”
