The number of death in the flood disaster in Kastamonu province of Turkey has reached 6, APA’s local bureau reports citing the information of Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD).
The search for a missing person in Bartin continues.
AFAD noted that the heavy rain and flood starting from August 7-11 in the northern provinces of Turkey, especially in Bartin, Sinop, Kastamonu have caused destructions and losses. One missed in Bartin and one has died of a heart attack.
Meteorologists forecast that the rain in the western Black Sea district of Turkey will stop at the evening hours today.
The Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has noted that all state bodies have mobilized in connection with the flood disaster that happened in the western part of the Black Sea.
