A total of 40 criminals wanted under the "Red Notice" were detained abroad and extradited to Türkiye, APA's Türkiye Bureau reports.
As part of the operations carried out by the Turkish Ministry of Interior in coordination with Interpol-Europol, suspects detained in Georgia, Germany, Bulgaria, the USA, Croatia, Switzerland, Montenegro, Russia and Greece were brought to Türkiye.
It is reported that among those sought under a “Red Notice” are individuals accused of serious crimes such as “intentional murder,” “membership in a criminal organization,” “illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs,” “sexual abuse of a child,” “armed robbery,” “incitement to prostitution,” “forgery of official documents,” and “fraud committed through information systems.”
