Last month, 107 foreign nationals were expelled from Georgia for violating residency and stay regulations, APA’s local bureau reports, citing the country’s Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
The expelled individuals, whose entry into the country has been banned, are citizens of Russia, Azerbaijan, India, Pakistan, Egypt, Türkiye, Iran, Nigeria, Cameroon, Sudan, Bangladesh, Jordan, Myanmar, Nepal, Syria, and Ethiopia.
According to the MIA, a total of 852 foreign nationals have been deported from Georgia during the first nine months of this year, significantly surpassing the total number of deportations in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
