Ukraine’s President Victor Yushchenko, leadership of the parliament and leaders of parliamentary factions did not reach an agreement, APA reports. Leader of Communist Party Pyotr Simosenko said that the president does not want to hear the coalition. He noted that Victor Yushchenko had no intention on going on compromise.
“Though we said that he was urged on the measures on violation of the constitution and illegal steps he did not want to listen to us,” he said.
The leader of communists said that if political confrontation deepens the head of state will be responsible for this. Parliamentarian from Our Ukraine alliance Nikolay Onishuk stated that the debates are the beginning of the procedure of dissolving the parliament.
“Holding such debates on the eve of adopting the decree on dissolving the parliament is obligatory normative. It is the constitution’s demand,” he said. /APA/
