He added that “we have clearly outlined there are three conditions to be fulfilled before NATO can take action: firstly – there must be a demonstrable need for our assistance, secondly – strong regional support and thirdly – clear legal basis and that is a UN mandate.”
The Libyan government forces recovered the oil terminals Ras Lanuf and Marsa el-Breqa seized by rebels. Muammar Gaddafi’s forces are close to the last rebel stronghold– Benghazi. The son of the Libyan leader stated that “military operations against the rebels would end in 48 hours”.
