According to information, it was noted in the information spread by Turkish Armed Forces Headquarters that a group of terrorists attacked on servicemen at about 2.00 on June 19. 8 servicemen were killed and 14 were injured during the shootout. The wounded were hospitalized.
The territory has been taken under control immediately and helicopters, artillery were sent to the site.
According to preliminary information, 12 terrorists were annihilated.
But Anadolu agency told that terrorists got together not in Shamdinli territory, but in Gadiktapa territory situated between Takali, Gunyazi and Ortaglar villages.
Additional forces were sent to the site.
