Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. On September 13, Washington will host an international conference on Azerbaijan and the Southern Gas Corridor to Europe: Implications for U.S. and European Energy Security. Azerbaijan will be represented at the event by Gulmira Rzayeva, a leading Research Fellow at the Center forStrategic Studies.
Center told APA-Economics that the conference will consist of two panels:
1. Azerbaijan, the EU and the Gas Corridor to Europe
2. The Trans-Adriatic Pipeline: Implications for Southeastern Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean
Rzayeva will deliver a speech on Azerbaijan’s role in expansion of Southern Gas Corridor.
