Baku. Hafiz Heydarov - APA. Syrian mujahideen have spread information that they have seized the automobile of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR).
Mujahideen, who are fighting with the Free Syrian Army against Bashar Assad forces, have released the photo of the automobile with SOCAR’s logo and claim that it belongs to SOCAR. APA has obtained the photo.
Spokesman for SOCAR Nizameddin Guliyev told APA that the logo on the automobile is faked.
“We do not have business in Syria, this automobile can not belong to us. When the photo is enlarged, it can be seen that this logo is faked. SOCAR’s logo was faked in other countries, too, it was prevented. Such cases show that SOCAR’s prestige is high and its logo is counterfeited and used.”
