SOCAR increases oil production

Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. In August, 2014, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) produced 710,100 tonnes of oil, up 0.5% in comparison to a year earlier, 0.05% to a month earlier.

In January, 2014, the production made 715,400 tonnes, February – 651,700 tonnes, March – 741,600 tonnes, April – 686,200 tonnes, May – 715,900, June – 687,400, July – 709,700.

In January-August, total oil production stood at 5,618,000, up 1.04% by contrast to a year ago.

In August, totally, 3,644,200 tonnes of oil were produced in the country, down 0.2% from 2013.

Oil production made 3,639,200 tonnes in January, 3,622,500 tonnes in February, 3,622,500 tonnes in March, 3,632,500 tonnes in April, 3,707,800 tonnes in May, 3,483,900 tonnes in June, 3,708,200 tonnes in July.

Totally, 23,010,800 tonnes of oil were produced in January-August, down 1.2% by contrast to 2013.
