SOCAR decreases gas production by 2.5%

Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu - APA-Economics. The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) produced 567,500 cm of gas in August, 2014, down 2.5% compared to a year earlier.

Gas production by the SOCAR made 691,500 cm in January, 624,500 cm in February, 680,800 cm in March, 654,900 cm in April, 608,500 cm in May, 561,200 cm in June and 575,100 cm in July. SOCAR produced 4,964,000 cm of gas in January-August, up 4.3% in annual comparison.

In August, total gas production across the country made 2,471,000 cm, up 2.7% from previous year.

Gas production across the country made 2,690,000 cm in January, 2,393,000 cm in February, 2,594,000 cm in March, 2,622,700 cm in April, 2,649,000 cm in May, 2,442,000 in June and 2,573,000 cm in July.

Totally, 20,435,300 cm of gas were produced in January-August across the country. Down 0.88% by contrast to a year earlier.
