Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. “Today, Azerbaijan is an independent country for energy supply and does not depend on any country of the world”, said the Azerbaijani Minister of Energy Natig Aliyev at the 4th informal meeting of the energy ministers of the Eastern Partnership member countries in Baku.
According to him, Azerbaijan produces 41 mln tonnes of oil and 20 bln kVt of energy per year: “Today, Azerbaijan has completely solved the issues on energy diversification. Azerbaijan has 4 oil and gas pipelines, which it exports energy and fuel”.
“Azerbaijan has its own energy plans and programs regarding Greece, Austria and other European countries. These programs will connect Azerbaijan with Europe”, he added.
