It was said that Azerbaijan attaches great importance to the enhancement of cooperation with the European Union. The sides underlined that the relations between Azerbaijan and Lithuania are based on mutual friendship and respect.
The sides said there are great opportunities for mutual investment between Azerbaijan and Lithuania, business forums, exhibitions, working meetings are held between the two countries.
Irina UrbonaviÄiÅ«tÄ— expressed her satisfaction with the visit to Azerbaijan, underlined's Azerbaijan's special role in Europe's energy security. She gave information about Lithuania's economy, noted that efficient use of economic potential, enhancement of relations between the business people will play an important role in the enhancement of Lithuania-Azerbaijan economic-commercial cooperation.
The Lithuanian guest underlined that there is great potential to cooperate in all spheres.
