Baku to host meeting of Intergovernmental Commission on economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia

Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. Azerbaijani Energy Minister Natig Aliyev will attend the 14^th meeting of Intergovernmental Commission on economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia to be held on September 12-13 in Baku.

According to Ministry, establishment of high-level working group on coordination of joint activity in energy will be discussed within the commission.

At the same time, in accordance with the intergovernmental contract, Azerbaijani and Russian Energy Ministries will exchange opinion on providing parallel operation of Inter RAO OJSC, SE EES OJSC, FSK EES OJSC and Azerenergy OJSC energy systems and energy supply under the contract, signing contracts and agreements on providing of state support to sale and purchase of energy.

Moreover, providing of state support to the signing of contract on provision of information exchange between SO EES OJSC and Azerenergy OJSC by Azerbaijani and Russian Ministries will be discussed.
