Baku – APA-Economics. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has today received Jonathan Elkind, acting Assistant Secretary for Policy and International Affairs of the U.S. Department of Energy.
APA-Economics reports that the sides assessed signing of final investment decision on Shahdeniz 2 as a historic event and appreciated US support for the project.
The sides also stressed successful development of energy cooperation between Azerbaijan and US, expressed satisfaction with the implementation of this project under Azerbaijan’s leadership and discussed issues of mutual interest.
