Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. Azerbaijani Minister of Energy Natig Aliyev has attended the Petrotech-2014 11th international oil and gas conference and exhibition in New-Delhi, India under the invitation of Indian Minister of Oil and Natural Gas Veerappa Moily.
Energy Ministry told APA-Economics that the theme of the conference and exhibition is Vision 2030: Emerging Global Energy Basket Challenges and Opportunities and it has been informed about the study of clean and effective energy opportunities, energy policy on application of new technologies in the sphere of discovery and extraction of hydro carbon reserves.
The conference has been dedicated to discussion of increase of standard of living of the people through effectively using energy, global problems, elimination of risks and other significant obstacles, measures on development of oil and gas reserves under the decreasing and increasing rate.
At the same time, Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, oil and gas Minister Veerappa Moily and Azerbaijani Energy Minister N. Aliyev have held bilateral meeting. The sides discussed Azerbaijan’s impact on implementation of energy projects, role in energy security of neighbor countries, as well as European countries.
