Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has declared an open tender on the project on the construction of carbamide plant in Sumgayit.
SOCAR told APA-Economics that all legal entities with relevant international practice, necessary financial and technical opportunities, experienced staff can take part in the tender.
The persons from the countries, on which the UN has imposed sanctions, the countries, with which the establishment of commercial relations can undermine the commitments undertaken by SOCAR in connection with issuance of eurobonds, the countries that are at war with Azerbaijan or pose threat to its sovereignty, the countries, with which establishment of commercial relations is restricted under the international treaties partnered by the republic, can not take part in the tender, the proposals having direct connection with such countries are not considered.
SOCAR's unreliable contractors or the persons with any upcoming lawsuit against the Company can not apply, either. The packages will be opened at 15.00 on May 16 in the main office of SOCAR in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.
The tender is held in line with the requirements of Azerbaijani legislation. 10 000 euros participation fees are to be transferred to the bank account of SOCAR. The participation fees are not returned.
