State Agency on Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources told APA-Economics that the project is being implemented by means of the power produced from alternative and renewable energy sources at Gobustan Experimental Landfill and Training Center.
The system will enable to automatically manage power production and consumption in the regions. 1.2MWt solar panels will be installed in the future so that the station meets power supply need of the entire Gobustan region.
The projects on the use of alternative and renewable energy sources are the projects aiming to reduce carbon dioxide emissions envisaged in the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) of the Kyoto Protocol.
