Abdullayev said that the company was established in the Soviet period: “It included a number of departments from housing department to the house of culture. But, even international audit organizations don’t accept that a production company should have such areas. Therefore, the enterprises under our company are analyzed. We have started the work and it will be continued. Certain job cuts will be made for company to operate under the international standards”.
Regarding the laid off employees, Abdullayev added that SOCAR is implementing a large program regarding these employees: “These employees will have vocational training for a year. They will return to work after passing exams”.
