OPEC announces forecats for production of hydrocarbons in non-OPEC+ countries

The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) has revised its forecast for the average daily production of oil and other hydrocarbons in non-OPEC countries for the years 2024-2025 under the "OPEC+" agreement (an initiative to reduce oil production involving OPEC and non-member countries), APA -Economics reports citing the monthly report of OPEC.

In the current year, it is estimated that the average daily production of oil and other hydrocarbons in countries not included in the "OPEC+" agreement will be 52.96 million barrels (the forecast has not changed), which is 1.23 million barrels higher compared to the indicator for 2023.

According to the forecast, the daily production of oil in countries not included in the "OPEC+" will be 54.07 million barrels (previous forecast—54.06), which means an increase of 1.1 million barrels in annual comparison.

According to the calculations, the average daily production of oil and other hydrocarbons in countries not included in the "OPEC+" agreement was at the level of 51.73 million barrels.
