Azerbaijan makes state program on energy efficiency

Baku. Ali Ahmedov â€“ APA-Economics. State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents of Azerbaijan has made a state program on energy efficiency, head of the State Committee’s technical regulation and standardization department, Sabig Abdullayev told APA.

According to him, this program was submitted to Cabinet of Ministers, in accordance to agreements with relevant ministries. Consisting of 75 standards this program is designed to save near 30% of energy, in the future. Standards will cover different spheres.

He noted that, immediately employment of these standards will be impossible. Employment term will be determined for industrial and other institutions and they will be granted a grace to meet the same standards.
