SOCAR prepares appeal to government on decrease of using mazout

According to him, depth of processing in Azerneftyag Oil Processing Plant is 99%, â€œThe depth of processing on Baku Oil Processing Plant named after Heydar Aliyev will be 92.5% by the end of this year. Now itâ€™s 92.4% in it. Because of, this plant processes commodity products, all types of fuel. Azerneftyag processes grease and bitumen roadâ€.

He regretfully noted that, Azerbaijani National Economy uses the mazout: â€œWe have taken every measures on decrease of using mazout and the demand was decreased by 30%. Now we prepare appeal to the government on decrease of using mazot. SOCAR can supply the institutions financed by budget with gas, but their infrastructures donâ€™t let it. This needs finance and they must resort to the governmentâ€.

He also noted that, number of SOCARâ€™s petrol stations will exceed 20, next year: â€œI think, the number of complaints on quality of petrol will be decreasedâ€.
