Azerbaijan increases oil production by 19%

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan increased the oil production by 8.9% during January-November, 2010. SSC says the gasoline increased by 0.8% to 1.1 mln tons, diesel fuel by 6.5% to 2.3 mln tons, lubricating oil by 1.9 times to 78.4 thousand tons, during the same period. Besides, 548.9 thousand tons of kerosene, 222.3 thousand tons of petroleum bitumen were produced.

As of December 1, 2010, the main consumers had 338.5 thousand tons of black oil fuel, 18.6 thousand tons of gasoline, 12.4 thousand tons of diesel fuel, 9.2 thousand tons of kerosene, 1.8 thousand tons of lubricating oil, 8.8 thousand tons of coal.

At the same time, 5.9 mln tons of oil production were sent to consumers (including export). 59.9% of oil production was directed to domestic need, 40.1% was exported. Of this, 38% was diesel fuel, 19.1% - gasoline, 9.2% - kerosene, 4.1% - black oil fuel, 3.7% - petroleum bitumen, 3.6% - liquid gases, 1.3% - lubricating oil and 21% - other products.

The consumers of country were sent 3.6 mln tons oil production during the same period, up 3.8% compared to a year ago.
