Oil transportation via Baku-Ceyhan pipeline 7% declines in November

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. In October, Azerbaijan transported 3 000 000 tons of oil via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline, down 6.7% compared to September.

According to SOCAR, 34.2 mln tons of oil was transported via BTC in January-November, 2010, up 2.4% compared to a year ago.

Totally, as December 1, 2010, 140.8 mln tons of oil was pumped in BTC since it launched.

Besides, 199.630 tons of Turkmen oil was transported via this pipeline.

Shareholders of BTC are: Â«BP-AzerbaijanÂ» (30,1%), AzBTC (25%), Â«ChevronÂ» (8,9%), Â«StatoilÂ» (8,71%), TPAO (6,53%), ENI (5%), Â«TotalÂ» (5%), Â«ItochuÂ» (3,4%), Â«InpexÂ» (2,5%), Â«ConocoPhillipsÂ» (2,5%) and Â«HessÂ» (2,36%) companies.
