Oil transportation falls, gas transportation rises via main pipelines in Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. During January-July, 28.6 mln tonnes oil was transported via main pipelines in Azerbaijan, down 2.1% compared with a year ago.

State Statistical Committee says 76.4% of transportation was implemented via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan, down 1.4% compared with a year earlier.

At the same time 10.4 bln cubic meters gas was transported via main pipelines, up 6.4% from year earlier. Of this, 30.2% was transported via Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum Southern Caucasus pipeline.
