Azerbaijan Industry Bank increases deposit portfolio by 2.2 times

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of July 1, 2010, Azerbaijan-based Azerbaijan Industry Bankâ€™s assets stood at AZN 111.002 mln, up 74% compared with a year.

Bank says the deposit portfolio extended by 2.2 times to AZN 77.524 mln, populationâ€™s deposit rose by b3.3 times to AZN 13.467 mln, loan portfolio doubled to AZN 78.574 mln, consumer lending increased by 3.8 times to AZN 39.899 mln.

Total capital surged 47% to AZN 25 mln, authorized capital soared 73% to AZN 22.114 mln and staffs climbed 13.7% to 149.

Income ended up 21% to AZN 5.664 mln, expenditure jumped 47% to AZN 5.366 mln. Profit made AZN 268 000, during January-June.

Azerbaijan Industry Bank has been in operation since 1996. The bank operates 8 branches, 23 ATMs and 249 POS-terminals across the country.
