SOCAR fulfils gas delivery forecast 12% exceeded

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. State Oil Company of Azerbaijan delivered 827.783 mln cubic meterss to the natural gas supply system of the country, in June, 2010.

There were 246.175 mln cubic meters natural gas in the underground gas storage. Thus, 581.608mln cubic meters natural gas was used during June. 11.511 mln cubic meters natural gas was exported to Georgia, 81.539 mln cubic meters to Russia,. 32.526 mln cubic meters was transported to Nakhchevan through Iran.

At the same time, SOCAR delivered 5 707.398 mln cubic meters to natural gas supply system of the country during January-June, up 629.898 or 12.4% mln cubic meters from forecast.

Thus, 5 771.972 mln cubic meters natural gas was used during January-June. Of this, 4 956.987 mln cubic meters was delivered to Azerenergy OJSC, 207.048 mln cubic meters was exported to Georgia, 428.213 mln cubic meters to Russia,. 179.724 mln cubice meters natural gas was transported to Nakhchevan through Iran.
