Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli Fields Block foresees to increase oil production by 80% this year

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijan foresees to increase the oil production in Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli Fields Block by 80.3% includes production of profit oil by 6.3 times compared with 2006.

SOCAR says, the production on ACG will reach 42 mln tonnes and volume of production on profit oil 29 mln tonnes in 2010. At the result, the total oil production on ACG will rise by 80.3%, profit oil by 6.3 times during last 5 years.

ACG participants are: BP (operator â€“ 34.1%), Chevron (10.2%), SOCAR (10%), Inpex (10%), Statoil (8.6%), ExxonMobil (8%), TPAO (6.8%), Devon (5.6%), Itochu (3.9%) and Hess (2.7%).
