Reinhard Mitschek: â€œEurope interests in purchasing of natural gas from Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Iraq and Egypt via Nabucco pipelineâ€

According to him, Europe interests in purchasing of natural gas from Azerbaijan, Egypt, Iraq and Turkmenistan via Nabucco pipeline. We came into agreement. Iranâ€™s participation in this project is not point at issue.

He also noted that, Nabucco expects natural gas production from Nakhchevan and Absheron structures too. Europe plans to purchase 10 bln cubic meters natural gas from Turkmenistan via this pipeline.

â€œWe support the diversification of transportation routes on the plan of this project and all process for the starting of construction will be finished till the end of the next yearâ€ he added.

The first transportation capacity of pipeline will be 31 bln cubic meters and 10-15 bln cubic blue fuel will be transported in the first stage, Managing Director Nabucco Gas Pipeline International GmbH said.
