Petkim Holding to launch its oil-refining factory in 2014

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov â€“ APA-Economics. Turkeyâ€™s Petkim will launch its new oil-refining factory in 2014, the company’s executive director Kanan Yavuz told APA.

According to him, $ 5 bln is expected to be allocated to Petkim till 2015. Besides, we work on the program of logistic and energy projects in Petkim peninsula.

Our program includes the construction of port and wind power station. I consider that, the SOCAR/Turcaz alliance will be one of the greatest holdings of Turkey and Petkim Peninsula will greatest production center in Europe, he said.

The produced outputs in the factory will be exported to world market. He noted that, they discuss the joint projects with SOCARâ€™s Azerikimya PU>

According to him, Petkim is a port and it will be enlarged on the framework of project. The receiving of 1 mln ton will be possible after finishing the works in the port. Petkim has 25% share in Turkeyâ€™s market. Turkeyâ€™s internal market is % 8 bln, and it will be $15 bln in 2015.
