Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. The Shah Deniz field in Azerbaijan sector of the Caspian Sea is one of the productive structures in the world, Vice President Shah Deniz Development, BP Azerbaijan, Alasdair Cook told in the 17th International Oil and Gas Conference, Baku.
According to him, Shah Deniz field has been i operation since 1999, but atural gas production started in it in 2006. That field is one of the most productive and huge projects in the world. The volume of presently gas production is 8 bln cubic meters.
