International oil and gas conference starts in Baku - <font color=red>PHOTOSESSION</font>

The main organizer of the conference is Iteca Caspian company and the supporters are the Ministries of Industry and Energy, Ecology and Natural Resources and SOCAR.

More 400 representatives participate in the conference. The program of conference is consisting of the representativesâ€™ speeches of Ministries of Industry and Energy and leaders of large companies of Azerbaijan, Georgia, USA, Turkey and Czech

The conference was declared open with plenary session about energy geopolitics of Europe and Azerbaijanâ€™s role. The minister of Industry and Energy Natig Aliyev, US special envoy for Eurasian energy Richard Morningstar, President National Company "KazMunayGaz" JSC, Kairgeldi Kabildin, Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey Yusuf Yazar, First Deputy of the Minister of Energy of Georgia, Mariam Valishvili and others will speak in the conference.

The 2nd session will be held about the role of Caspian region in the guarantee of energy safety of Europe. The speakers of session will be SOCAR president Rovnag Abdullayev, Statoil president Peter Mellbye, MV Gas&Power Regional manager Caspian region Wolfgang Sporrer, and others.

The first day of conference will be finished with plenary session about technologies and services decreasing the influence to the environment: future of oil gas industry with speedy development. Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Huseyngulu Bagirov, SOCAR vice-president on ecology Soltan Aliyev, Executive director of Alten Group company Kamal Shabanov, chairman of Nobel Charitable Foundation Gustaf Nobel will speak in the session.

The 2nd day of conference will be declared open with the plenary session perspectives of exploration and output in Caspian region. The speakers will be SOCAR first vice-president Khoshbakht Yusifzadeh, Vaclav Bartushka, Ambassador for Energy Security, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Czech Republic and managers of several companies, in this session.
