Russia, Turkey expected to reach South Stream final agreement in November

Baku. Vahab Rzayev - APA-Economics. Russia and Turkey will completely coordinate the package of documents on the construction of the South Stream pipeline in November, 2010, said Russian Deputy Prime Minister Igor Sechin at the cabinet meeting, APA-Economics reports.

Sechin said Turkey has approved the realization of the South Stream project. “The Turkish Prime Minister declared that the necessary documents making the construction to start in November will be submitted soon”, said the Russian official.

The South Stream project considers the construction of a pipeline for gas transportation from the Black Sea area to the South and Central European countries. 900-km pipeline will have 63 billion cubic meters capacity per year. The construction is planned to be finished by December, 2015.
