Baku hosts international conference on new technologies in oil-gas output

In his speech, Fakhraddin Ismailov, director of Neftgazlayihe Scientific Research Institute (SOCAR) told about the instituteâ€™s activities. He noted that the goal of the conference is to make researches on new methods of applying new technologies to oil-gas extraction.
Representatives from the USA, Russia, Holland, Turkey and other countries are amongst the attendees.

Rovneg Abdullayev, SOCAR president underlined that Azerbaijani oil industry has always paid considerable attention for applying new technologies. As the new perspective structures are located in deep depth, the application of new technologies become necessary.

Speeches on production and state monitoring on oil and gas fields processing and management of processing, nanotechnologies in oil extraction â€“ current situation, challenges and potential opportunities have been made in the conference, which will last until February 26.
