Baku gets power supply partly restored

Azerenerji told APA that the Mingachevir Hydropower Station and “Azerbaijan” power station have stopped operation caused by overload.

Fazail Suleymanov, COE of “Azerbaijan” power station located in Shirvan city, could only inform APA about the emergency situation at the station. The station was disconnected from the network because of the overload.

Baku Subway informed APA that due to the outage in power supply the trains stuck in tunnels. Passengers from trains and subway stations were evacuated.

The power supply to the capital city has partly been restored.
