Gas escape in Mozdok-Kazi Magomed pipeline prevented, resumption of gas supply to Russia supposed tomorrow

According to the northern reporter of APA, due to gas escape in the Siyazan gas main, the gas supply to Russian Federation has been suspended. With regard to Guba and Khachmaz, a gas supply is partially restricted.
A maintenance team of Siyazan gas pipeline has immediately been dispatched for accident site. Repair works were completed in the evening hours, January 22. However, due to getting dark it was impossible to assume the security measures, therefore the gas supply was postponed till next morning. The local televisions announced that gas supply to the population would be resumed next morning at 9:00.
According to the official, the local gas authorities are not empowered to resume gas supply to the Russian Federation, as itâ€™s up to â€œAzerigasâ€ joint-stock company to decide. As the technical problems have been overcome, the gas supply resumption is supposed tomorrow morning.
