Bau. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. Russian local authorities has repaired a gas pipeline in Russia’s volatile North Caucasus republic of Dagestan which was attacked by a blast on Tuesday, resulting in a fire and supply disruptions, Itar-Tass reported.

A bomb went off around 8:00 p.m. Moscow time (1709 GMT) on January 12 at the 496th kilometer of the Mozdok-Kazimagomed pipeline in Dagestan’s Derbent area, knocking out supplies to the major town of Derbent as well as surrounding districts.

The agency reported that 21-meter damaged pipeline has been replaced and gas supply to population will be restored in severa hours.
