Azerbaijan takes part in the preparatory meeting for Batumi energy summit

Tbilisi. Nizami Mammadzade - APA-ECONOMICS. A working group has today met in Tbilisi to prepare the agenda of Batumi Energy Summit to be held on 14 January.

The meeting was joined by 27 experts from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Poland, Lithuania, Hungary, Romania, the Sarmatia consortium.

Shovgi Mehdizade, counselor of Azerbaijanâ€™s embassy in Georgia, said that the issues and documents discussed by the working group will be announced on the day of the summit.

The participation of presidents of 5 countries has already been confirmed.

Azerbaijan was represented at the working group meeting by representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Energy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and SOCAR.
