Two hydroelectric power stations to be built in Azerbaijan this year

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov - APA-ECONOMICS. Azerbaijan will launch construction of two new hydroelectric plants, said Marlen Asgerov, vice-president of AzerEnerji.
According to him, the new station will be built on mountain rivers in Goychay and Ismailli.
He also added that construction of the "South" power station will be completed in late 2010.
Construction of this plant was launched on Dec. 24, 2007.
The total project cost is around €600 million.
