Azerbaijan National Aerospace Agency expands production capacity

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov - APA-ECONOMICS. Azerbaijan National Aerospace Agency (ANAA) plans to expand the production capacity and the application of new technology in its several plants as part of the Space Industry Creation and Development Programme, said the ministry of defense industry.

According to the statement, a 4-year action plan has been developed and the document envisages the retooling and expansion of Space Instrumentation Factory, Space Data Receipt Complex and other enterprises.

In accordance with the plan, nanoelectronics unit will be established will soon be set up in the factory. The Space Data Receipt Complex will be equipped so that it is capable of tracking small objects and movements.

The Ministry also informed that the development and operation of mini and micro satellites are planned.
