Azerbaijan increases variety of defense-oriented products to 350

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov - APA-ECONOMICS. Azerbaijanâ€™s Ministry of Defense Industry has increased the assortment of defense-oriented products 350, said Yaver Jamalov, Minister of Defense Industry.

He added that the products include long-range mortars, sniper rifles, hand grenades, various anti-tank mines and ammunitions, training bombs etc.

He noted that currently the Ministry-operated production enterprises also produce products for civilian use.

The production of products for civilian has tripled over the past three years.

According to the minister, the ministry has burdened with several tasks in accordance with the space industry development programme.

"The development of space industry will evaluate the existing military and strategic factors and to take the right decisions and prompt action in time," he added.
