Azerbaijan exports 2.9 million tons of crude through Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan in November

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. 2.9 million tonnes of oil was pumped abroad through Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) Pipeline during November, said SOCAR.

According to the company, in total 33.4 million tonnes of oil were exported through this route in January-November.

Since the launch of the BTC pipeline, 103.7 million tonnes of Azeri Light crude oil was exported through the pipeline.

Besides, 188 800 tonnes of Kazakh oil flowed through the pipeline in November and 1.8 million tons during January-November.

The BTC Co. shareholders are: BP (30.1%); AzBTC (25.00%); Chevron (8.90%); StatoilHydro (8.71%); TPAO (6.53%); ENI (5.00%); Total (5.00%), Itochu (3.40%); INPEX (2.50%), ConocoPhillips (2.50%) and Hess (2.36%).
